The bite left a deep gash on her wrist, but she refused to come ashore, prioritising photos over safety. Friends urged her to seek medical help, warning of possible amputation, yet she laughed off their concerns. Days later, her wound became infected, forcing her to visit a hospital where it was cleaned and treated with a tetanus shot.
