Singapore, Dec 6 — The Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore (MPA) has urged the public and maritime industry to stay vigilant as the north-east monsoon continues until March 2026, bringing stronger winds, rougher seas and heavy rain. MPA inspectors will intensify safety checks on ferries, harbour craft and pleasure craft, focusing on vessel condition, emergency equipment, and boarding procedures.
