BIRMINGHAM: Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta insists his side will “rise again” after Emiliano Buendía’s 90th-minute winner gave Aston Villa a dramatic 2-1 victory, ending the Gunners’ 18-match unbeaten streak. Leandro Trossard had cancelled out Matty Cash’s opener, but the late blow leaves Arsenal’s lead cut to just two points over Manchester City and three over Villa.

Arsenal Bounce Back?

It was only Arsenal’s second league defeat this season. Arteta remained defiant: “This is the Premier League level. We’ve been to every tough ground and we’re still top. The chance is right in front of us – now it’s time to respond.”
