MACC chief Tan Sri Azam Baki said Azman faces abetment charges while the businessman is accused of accepting bribes. Sources claim Azman received RM400,000 to secure land-use rights. Arrested last Friday, Azman called it “selective prosecution” and political revenge after criticising PM Anwar Ibrahim. The probe began in February following a public complaint.
