PARIS – Dec 7, 2025: It’s vaccination day at Paris Zoological Park and the Humboldt penguins are total rockstars! Forty-one feathered friends queued politely by the pool while vets gave gentle jabs and zookeepers whispered sweet nothings to stars like Cissou. After a quick weigh-in, feather pluck and microchip check, each penguin waddled back to the enclosure looking unbothered and frankly adorable.

With bird flu circling the globe, these outdoor birds get their annual protection — France’s zoos have been doing it since 2006. No outbreaks here ever, and today the mood was pure joy: penguins vaccinated, staff smiling, even a cheeky seagull photobombed the party!
