Our anti-social world today has shown that we’re either unaware or are ignoring those around us. Unfortunately, an OKU woman was not given a seat, especially the priority seats on an MRT train and netizens are sharing their shock towards the situation.
As OKU Woman Stands, Not A Seat Was Offered
A TikTok screenshot of the ordeal went viral on X. Apparently a pregnant woman claimed in the comments that she was not given a seat in the women’s coach. But in the mixed cabin, a number of men offered to give up their seats for her.
But social media users state that most commuters would simply look at their phone while they’re on the train, unaware of their surroundings. Furthermore, they add that if a priority person were to be in front of them, they’d give up their seat for them.
Unfortunately, some users decided to spin anti-women rhetoric instead. At the end of the day, these are mere comments and we’re unsure of the actual situation that happened.
