Malaysian political activist Badrul Hisham Shaharin, better known as Che GuBard, launched a walking protest from Port Dickson to Johor Bahru to highlight what he calls ongoing persecution under the Sedition Act.
Che GuBard Halts Protest After Blisters
The march, themed “Demi Maruah Diri dan Kembalikan Perjuangan ke Tangan Rakyat,” was meant to culminate at the Johor Bahru Court. However, on the third day, he was forced to stop in Muar after severe blisters and muscle pain left him unable to continue.
In a Facebook post, he apologised to supporters, saying his court case must take priority. He stressed the protest was about dignity, not bravado.
