Prominent Sarawak PKR member Daniel Jani in a Facebook post, said he resigned from the party, insisting he was not sacked but left voluntarily because “PKR tak boleh pakai.” In a viral video, he mocked an official PKR letter meant to dismiss him, pointing out its glaring error: the wrong address copied haphazardly for his branch chairman role.
Quitting PKR
“This is PKR’s standard,” he fumed. Jani’s exit comes amid PKR’s deepening turmoil since its divisive party elections earlier this year, followed by a crushing defeat in last month’s Sabah polls. Critics say the party faces a leadership vacuum, with successors to ex-economy minister Rafizi Ramli failing to steer it back on track. But the comments on the post on Facebook are funny, at times.
