On December 9, the public prosecutor filed a notice at the Court of Appeal abandoning the appeal, effectively ending all proceedings. Rosmah’s lead counsel, Datuk Firoz Hussein Ahmad Jamaluddin, confirmed the withdrawal, expressing delight at the outcome. “This is indeed very good news,” he told Malay Mail. Rosmah, wife of former prime minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak, had consistently denied any wrongdoing.
