Thailand’s Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul declared no ceasefire exists in the escalating border conflict with Cambodia, vowing military operations will continue “until we feel no more harm and threats.” This came hours after US President Donald Trump announced he had brokered a renewed truce following calls with both leaders on Friday.

Ceasefire?

Thai fighter jets reportedly struck Cambodian targets on Saturday. Cambodia’s Hun Manet affirmed commitment to peaceful resolution per the October agreement. Renewed fighting since Dec 8 has killed at least 20 and wounded over 260 along the disputed 817km border.
