Former Economy Minister and PKR leader Rafizi Ramli has issued a blunt warning to his coalition, stating that persistent corruption controversies, if ignored, could prove fatal for Pakatan Harapan (PH) and PKR. He remarked that corruption culture persists across parties, differing only in “packaging”—from cash bags in UMNO to briefcases in PKR.

Rafizi highlighted societal normalisation of small-scale graft and criticised perceived lack of MACC independence, leading to accusations of selective prosecution. He questioned PKR’s future appeal if its anti-corruption credential erodes, vowing to continue speaking out to preserve voter hope.
