UMNO Supreme Council member Puad Zarkashi has questioned the continued cooperation between Dr Mahathir Mohamad and Muhyiddin Yassin after Mahathir was heard in a viral video accusing the Bersatu president of stealing party funds and keeping the money at home.
Mahathir-Muhyiddin Alliance Questioned
Puad said the allegation was serious and embarrassing, yet Muhyiddin has not taken legal action. Bersatu Youth later claimed the video was manipulated and that Mahathir was referring to someone else. Muhyiddin has strongly denied the accusation, calling it baseless. Puad also raised concerns about internal Bersatu dynamics and said the Mahathir‑Muhyiddin relationship has made Malaysian politics increasingly toxic.
