Khairul Aming’s upcoming restaurant, Rembayung, has become the target of negative Google Reviews despite not yet opening, with some users even claiming the premises are haunted.

Fake Reviews for Khairul Aming’s Business Are Haram

Malaysian preacher Dr Rozaimi Ramle has condemned the behaviour, calling it haram and warning that false reviews can unfairly harm a person’s livelihood. He said leaving one‑star ratings without trying the food amounts to false testimony, which is considered a major sin in Islam.

Dr Rozaimi also criticised those who misuse reviews to express political disagreements or support boycotts. He urged the public to be honest and avoid actions that slander or oppress others.
