At the 2025 SEA Games in Thailand, bib collection turned into a comedy show for Team Singapore! Distance runner Soh Rui Yong captured the hilarious moment on TikTok, showing how organizers botched the names.

His bib read “Guillaume” – his rarely used French name. Thiruben Thana Rajan laughed hardest when his said just “Rajan”: “That’s my dad’s name – he’s running tomorrow!” Muncherji Zubin Percy got “Percy” (dad’s name), Vanessa Lee “Zhuang” (what her mum calls her), and Nicole Low’s was her Chinese name “Sui Xuan,” surprising Soh. Luckily, sprinter Shanti Pereira dodged the chaos with a correct “Shanti.” Amid giggles, Soh quipped it’s “one of those things” – the lighter side of the Games!
