New: Singapore car crashes into four JB homes after driver loses control in heavy rain

A Singapore-registered Audi crashed into four terraced houses along Jalan Harimau, Johor Bahru, at around 5.15am on Nov 24. The 32-year-old Singaporean male driver lost control amid heavy rain and slippery roads, police confirmed on Dec 18. The vehicle damaged homes at numbers 31, 33, 35 and 37, overturning and punching holes in walls.

The driver sustained minor injuries and tested negative for alcohol. He was issued a summons for failing to control the vehicle and treated at Columbia Asia Hospital. Photos shared on SG Road Vigilante’s Facebook page showed the extensive wreckage. Police investigations are ongoing.
