Despite winning 25 seats, Warisan placed second to GRS, which formed the state government with federal support. Shafie noted Warisan already cooperates with the federal government and sees national-level ties as appropriate. Separately, he said no decision has been made on contesting the upcoming Jan 24 by-elections for Lamag state and Kinabatangan parliamentary seats.
