Crowds turn up at Jalan Duta court shouting "Bebas Bossku"

Former prime minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak failed in his court bid for house arrest today, which means he has to continue serving the rest of his six-year jail term at Kajang Prison.

High Court judge Alice Loke Yee Ching today decided that the former Yang di-Pertuan Agong’s add-on order for Najib’s house arrest is invalid and cannot be carried out.

Hundreds of loyal supporters of former Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak gathered early at the Kuala Lumpur Court Complex in Jalan Duta on December 22, 2025, anticipating the High Court’s ruling on his judicial review to serve the remainder of his SRC International corruption sentence under house arrest.

Chanting “Justice for Najib,” “lawan tetap lawan,” and “Bebas Bossku,” fans arrived from states like Penang, Johor, and Pahang, including overnight bus travellers and a wheelchair user. Six buses from Pekan brought crowds showing solidarity for the jailed leader.
