MACC calls on Chegubard to formally report alleged corruption involving senior Armed Forces officer.
The Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) has urged activist Badrul Hisham Shaharin, known as Chegubard, to file a formal report regarding his allegations of corruption against a senior Malaysian Armed Forces officer. MACC chief Tan Sri Azam Baki emphasised that investigations require credible evidence, stressing independent and professional probes based on facts.

No official complaint has been received yet. Chegubard claimed anonymous documents revealed monthly deposits of tens of thousands of ringgit into accounts linked to the officer and family. He lodged a police report at Dang Wangi headquarters on December 22.
