An X user noticed that every Apple’s upgrade promotion shows the phones upgraded are of much older generations. Another X user claims that the tech giant also knows that their customers take a few years to change their phones.
Others state that the rise of the 36 month financing has normalised people owning phones for a much longer time. Furthermore, phones have risen in price significantly in the last few years.
