Man Survives Dramatic Fall from 10th Floor, Leg Caught in Grille

SURAT – A 57-year-old man narrowly escaped death on Thursday morning after falling from his 10th-floor flat in Times Galaxy building, Jahangirpura. Nitinbhai Adiya was sleeping near an open window when he rolled out around 8am. His fall was halted two floors below when his leg got painfully wedged in an eighth-floor grille, leaving him hanging upside down.

Neighbours alerted the fire brigade, prompting teams from Jahangirpura, Palanpur, and Adajan stations to respond. Rescuers secured him with ropes and a safety belt from above, while others held a net below. After an hour-long operation, Adiya was safely pulled inside. Photo: Viral Video
