A Muslim smoked‑meat seller in Port Dickson, Negeri Sembilan, was shocked to discover her halal business listed as a “pork seller” on a website. Azimah Abdul Malik, owner of Anjung Salai, said she was alerted on 29 December when a customer shared the site ‘porkshopnearme.my,’ which falsely labeled her business as the “best pork shop.”

Azimah noted that other halal businesses were also misrepresented. She described the act as “harsh, insensitive, and rude,” and lodged reports with the police and MCMC. Operating for seven years, Azimah expressed disappointment that her images were used with false information, urging public awareness.
