Port Dickson Bersatu chief Badrul Hisham Shaharin, known as Chegubard, claimed Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim and Defence Minister Khaled Nordin are aware of cartels operating within the Malaysian armed forces. Speaking at a press conference outside Putrajaya police headquarters on January 3, 2026, Chegubard said he had sighted documents proving their knowledge and lodged a police report, submitting the evidence.
