PAPAR: Police arrested a 21-year-old woman suspected of abandoning her newborn baby boy in the women’s toilet of a Bongawan petrol station early Thursday. District police chief Supt Heryan Mohd Tahir said the woman initially reported finding the infant at 1.20am, leading to the baby being rushed to Hospital Papar.

CCTV footage review linked her directly to the child, believed to be the mother. The baby is in stable condition and under observation. The woman is remanded for investigations under relevant laws.
