KOTA KINABALU: A 21-year-old man was killed and six others injured in a head-on collision between a Proton Iswara and a Mitsubishi Triton on Jalan Pantai Lok Kawi–Kinarut at around 4.04am today. Sabah Fire and Rescue Department teams from Putatan and Penampang arrived quickly, finding the Proton in a drain and the Triton overturned.
21-Year-Old Killed
Firefighters extricated the trapped driver of the Proton, who was pronounced dead at the scene by Health Ministry personnel. Four occupants ejected into the drain and two others from both vehicles were injured. All survivors were rushed to hospital by ambulances from various emergency services.
