The Malaysian government is implementing the MLFF system to improve toll efficiency, while Singapore upgrades its ERP to ERP 2.0.

A Malaysian man working in Singapore narrowly escaped losing RM840 after falling for a scam text claiming unpaid toll fees of RM12.80 on Christmas Day. Mr Liao, 29, received the message from 15888 shortly after entering Malaysia, clicked the link, and entered payment details. Minutes later, his bank notified him of a failed $267.74 transaction.

Fake Toll Scam

He filed a police report fearing data misuse. No funds were deducted. Similar scams targeted Singaporeans, including actress Kayly Loh, who spotted a $2,800 charge and stopped it. Others reported attempted deductions over $700. Victims urged vigilance against unknown links.
