Johor Darul Ta’zim (JDT) continued their dominant run in the Liga Super with a 2-0 away win over Selangor FC at MB Petaling Jaya Stadium. An early own goal by Selangor defender Richmond Ankrah in the 7th minute from Nacho Mendez’s shot gave JDT the lead.
Winning Streak
Despite Selangor’s improved second-half pressure and chances for Chrigor Moraes and Faisal Halim, they failed to score. Substitute Bergson da Silva sealed the victory with a stoppage-time goal. The result extends JDT’s winning streak to 13 matches, keeping them atop the table with 39 points, while Selangor remain on 25 points.
