A 20‑year‑old Chinese woman, reportedly a Douyin influencer from Fujian, was found homeless and injured on the streets of Sihanoukville, Cambodia, days after being reported missing.
Woman Abandoned in Sihanoukville
Images showed her clutching a CT scan with fractured legs and appearing bruised and disoriented. Social media claims suggest she was lured by her boyfriend with promises of “easy money” and a high‑paying job.
The Chinese Embassy confirmed it intervened, admitting her to hospital for emergency treatment and contacting her family for repatriation. Officials said she had been abandoned near a hotel on December 26, 2025. Her condition has since improved.
