Nilai police are intensifying efforts to locate a masked man identified as the prime suspect in the murder of a man in his 30s found stabbed 12 times at a Mantin apartment last month. District police chief Superintendent Johari Yahya said CCTV footage from December 28 showed the suspect, wearing a face mask and hoodie, entering the premises around midnight and leaving three hours later.

A security guard reportedly recalled the man inquiring about the victim’s unit beforehand. Preliminary investigations suggest the rented apartment was used for immoral activities. The case is probed under Section 302 of the Penal Code for murder. Photo: CCTV/KOSMO
