The Attorney General’s Chambers’ decision to drop all 47 charges against Deputy Prime Minister Ahmad Zahid Hamidi raises serious concerns about transparency and accountability. The AGC cited a “comprehensive review” but did not clarify whether it considered the High Court’s 2022 prima facie findings, which were based on extensive prosecution evidence.
