Local animation Papa Zola The Movie has reached a major box office milestone, collecting RM59.8 million in Malaysia and RM60 million including Brunei. The film surpassed Ejen Ali The Movie 2, last year’s top local animated release. Opening with RM10 million in four days, Papa Zola crossed RM43 million within three weeks and remained number one despite strong international competition.

About 3.75 million viewers have watched the film so far. Its family-oriented storytelling, local identity, and positive values have driven sustained audience support. The film is currently screening regionally and will expand to Indonesia and other international markets.
