A man in Sumbawa, West Nusa Tenggara, was arrested after pawning and selling his wife’s motorcycle and laptop without her knowledge, Indonesian media reported. The suspect, identified as SB, 45, allegedly disposed of items that had earlier been pawned to his wife by a colleague for 3 million rupiah.
He secretly pawns
Police said SB later sold the motorcycle and laptop to another party for just 500,000 rupiah. He also reportedly sold his wife’s Honda Scoopy motorcycle for 2 million rupiah. The incidents caused total losses of about 12 million rupiah, prompting the wife to file a police report.
