Police arrested four Iranian nationals, including a woman, suspected of operating a hypnosis-based robbery gang following a raid at a Jalan Ampang condominium. Kuala Lumpur police chief Datuk Fadil Marsus said the suspects, aged 18 to 35, are related, with two being siblings. Cash and jewellery believed linked to victims were seized.

Investigations found victims were distracted through conversation before becoming disoriented and losing valuables. The gang targeted tourists and locals. Four reports involving losses exceeding RM30,000 were lodged. The suspects remain in remand and will be charged next week under the Penal Code after police completed further inquiries nationwide.
