We ran a story saying Umno leader Zahid Hamidi told an audience there is a ‘team b’ in DAP that is noisy and made comments that irritated members over Najib Razak. But today DAP supremo Anthony Loke went viral saying: “Does it make sense for me to say something like that? Would I be so foolish in politics to announce the existence of a ‘Team B’ in this party, and then inform another party about it? I strongly deny it and have never discussed this issue with Zahid.”

Zahid, during his winding-up speech at the UMNO General Assembly (PAU) 2025 yesterday, claimed that conflicting statements issued by DAP’s top leadership came from a ‘Team B’. He said the matter was conveyed to him by Loke. “Say whatever you want, but DAP, as a party in the government, is a united and solid party with strong team leaders,” Loke said.
