A 13‑year‑old girl endured a terrifying ordeal in Shah Alam when her father’s car was stolen while she was inside. The incident occurred outside a secondary school around 7pm on Jan 18, when a thief drove off in a silver Perodua Viva without realizing the girl was in the back seat.
Young Girl Survives Carjacking
She screamed, alerting the thief, who told her to stay quiet before abandoning the car near a restaurant an hour later. Police quickly located both the vehicle and the victim, who was unharmed but traumatized. Investigations are underway under Section 379A for vehicle theft and Section 363 for kidnapping.
