In a tragic accident on the Kulim-Mahang road, three family members lost their lives in an instant. Muhammad Syazwan Mohd. Surodjidin, a 25-year-old factory worker, died at the scene along with his two young sons, Muhammad Affan Mikhael, aged 2, and Muhammad Aqeel Afnan, aged 4. The Perodua Viva they were travelling in collided head-on with a Proton S70 that reportedly lost control and veered into the opposite lane.

The 27-year-old driver of the Proton sustained injuries and is receiving treatment. The victims’ bodies were taken to Kulim Hospital’s Forensic Unit, while both vehicles were sent for detailed examination. Police are investigating under Section 41(1) of the Road Transport Act 1987.
