Singapore has been invited to join the United States-led “Board of Peace” proposed by the Trump administration to oversee the next phase of the Gaza peace plan. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs said it is currently assessing the invitation, which was sent by the White House to dozens of countries.
Board of Peace
Initially intended to supervise Gaza’s reconstruction, the board has expanded its mandate to include resolving global conflicts. Chaired by US President Donald Trump, it is expected to convene its first meeting during the World Economic Forum in Davos. Russia is included among invitees, while China is notably absent. Singapore did not seek membership.
