The ministry emphasised that any public health measures will be decided based on confirmed information and careful risk assessment.
Malaysia Actively Tracks Nipah Virus Developments
Officials said Malaysia’s existing health surveillance and outbreak response systems are robust and ready to act if necessary, and authorities are maintaining communication with global partners to stay updated on evolving developments and scientific findings.
While no confirmed cases have been reported in Malaysia, the ministry stressed the importance of public awareness and preventive hygiene practices, reassuring that routine health monitoring continues as part of national preparedness.
