Rap star Nicki Minaj declared herself Donald Trump’s “number one fan” at a rally, saying criticism of the US president only strengthens her support.

Wearing a white fur coat, Minaj joined Trump on stage and praised his resilience against “hate” and “smear campaigns.” She endorsed Trump’s “Trump Accounts” initiative, which provides trust funds for children, and vowed not to let opponents “bully” him.
Trump joked about mimicking her style before holding her hand as she spoke. Once a critic of his immigration policies, Minaj has shifted to praising his leadership, even appearing at the UN last year on religious freedom.
