SINGAPORE – Hungry Ghost Festival remains months away, but a GrabFood delivery rider was left unsettled after what he believes was a deliberate prank. The rider was dispatched to an isolated, abandoned-looking address late at night—only to find the building completely dark and empty, with no resident, doorbell response, or sign of life.
Prank Order
He described the location as “eerie and creepy,” with overgrown surroundings and an unsettling atmosphere that made him question if the order was placed as a joke or worse. After waiting several minutes and contacting support, the food was eventually marked undelivered. The rider later shared his experience online, sparking discussions about whether it was a harmless prank, a glitch, or something more unusual—reminding many that not every delivery ends as expected. – Photo for illustration purposes
