Following the discovery of six skeletal remains in a burnt house at Kangkar Pulai, Johor Bahru, police intensified investigations. On January 21, four Malaysians—three men and one woman aged 19 to 35—were detained in Iskandar Puteri. Initial findings revealed the suspects were drug associates, with three testing positive for methamphetamine.
Johor Murder Case
All had prior criminal records. The case was referred to the Johor State Attorney General’s Office, which decided to prosecute two male suspects under Section 302 of the Penal Code for murder. The remaining two were released on police bond and will serve as witnesses in the trial.
