Deputy Housing and Local Government Minister Aiman Athirah Sabu criticized PAS MP Siti Zailah Mohd Yusoff for questioning Minister Nga Kor Ming’s faith after he used Islamic phrases like “Alhamdulillah” and “InsyaAllah” in Parliament.

Aiman, also Amanah Women’s Chief, said such expressions are praises to God and do not automatically signify one’s religion, stressing that Islam is entered only through the syahadah. 

She argued that non-Muslims may use these phrases respectfully without mocking Islam, citing the late Nik Abdul Aziz Nik Mat’s inclusive stance. Aiman urged maturity and harmony, warning that emotional criticism misrepresents Islam and undermines social unity.
