The Malaysian Meteorological Department (MetMalaysia) has forecast hot and dry weather for most of Peninsular Malaysia until February 10, 2026, with northern regions expected to experience particularly high temperatures, the department said in a weather advisory.

MetMalaysia said that while dry conditions will dominate, brief thunderstorms may still occur in some western parts of the peninsula as well as in Sabah and Sarawak, adding that the public should stay updated via official channels.
The agency advised residents to check the myCuaca mobile app or its official platforms for the latest forecasts and weather alerts to stay prepared during the sustained warm spell.
