LABUAN – Police have detained a local woman and nine foreigners during a raid on a business premises, Labuan district police chief Superintendent Mohd Hamizi Halim confirmed. The local woman was identified as the premises manager, while the foreign nationals, aged 18 to 53, worked as servers and cooks without valid permits.

Investigations revealed they had been employed since July 2025. Several documents were seized to assist inquiries. The case is being investigated under Section 55B of the Immigration Act 1959/63 and Regulation 39(b) of the Immigration Regulations 1963. All suspects have been remanded until February 9.
