PUTRAJAYA – Former Tronoh assemblyman Paul Yong Choo Kiong will remain imprisoned and caned for raping his domestic helper after the Federal Court rejected his application for a review. A three‑judge panel led by Chief Judge of Malaya Datuk Seri Hashim Hamzah ruled Yong failed to meet the threshold under Rule 137 of the Federal Court Rules 1995.
