MELAKA – A 55-year-old woman was killed while her husband, daughter, and two-month-old grandchild were injured after their car crashed into a drain in Taman Bertam Impian. The incident occurred at 2pm when the 68-year-old driver mistakenly accelerated while parking near a supermarket. Police confirmed the car veered forward and fell into the drain.

The deceased, from Sarawak, was pronounced dead at the scene and sent for post-mortem. The injured were treated at Hospital Melaka.
