Malaysian men’s doubles badminton pair Aaron Chia and Soh Wooi Yik are on the cusp of securing their long-awaited World Tour title after advancing to the final of the Indonesian Open.

In a thrilling semi-final match against Pramudya Kusumawardana and Yeremia Rambitan of Indonesia, Aaron and Wooi Yik fought back from a set down to win 12-21, 23-21, 21-13.

The world No. 3 duo will face India’s Satwiksairaj Rankireddy and Chirag Shetty, ranked No. 6 in the world, in the championship match. With an impressive head-to-head record against their Indian opponents, Aaron and Wooi Yik have a promising chance to claim their first World Tour title.
