Akmal chides Anwar now on Budi95 quota zig-zag

Budi95 quota, subsidies, Hilman: Fuel Price Hike Burdens B40 and M40

Umno firebrand youth leader Akmal Saleh chided PMX over what many see as a zig-zag of the Madani on fuel quotas, saying it is ‘he who started it’ adding that Anwar Ibrahim is self-proclaiming himself as hero of the Budi95 saga.

“D”ia yang mewujudkan kuota

Dia juga yang menurunkan kuota

Dia juga yang menaikkan semula kuota

Dan dia jugalah yang mengangkat diri sendiri sebagai hero

Nak tanya, kajian yang menyatakan hanya 1% jer guna minyak melebihi 200liter sebulan tu tidak terpakai ke apa?ke dah berubah akibat PRN?

Apa pon, terima kasih hero!!” Akmal wrote on his Facebook page.

Budi95 quota

The monthly eligibility limit under the BUDI MADANI fuel subsidy programme will return to 300 litres from September 1, after being reduced to 200 litres in August. The Finance Ministry said the move is part of the government’s efforts to strengthen support for eligible Malaysians while ensuring fuel subsidies remain targeted.

The ministry said the decision considered improved fuel supply management, stronger enforcement, economic performance and the government’s financial capacity. It also aims to support Malaysians who travel long distances for daily needs and small businesses that depend on vehicles for income. More than 16 million users currently benefit from subsidised RON95 at RM1.99 per litre.

The BUDI MADANI monthly fuel quota will return to 300 litres from September 1 (Today).
