Anwar demands apology from PN man over Israel link allegations

1 min read

Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim has given Baling MP Hassan Saad three days to make an unqualified apology over a Twitter audio posting which is said to contain allegations made of the premier’s links with Israel, which is an allegation that surfaced for the first time during the recent general election campaign. An apology from PN man is sought.

In the lawyer letter to the MP, Anwar says he was defamed by the audio uploaded to the Twitter handle “Mohd Ropi Mat Sin”.

If the MP does not reply with an apology and promises to not repeat such allegations, Anwar’s lawyers will proceed to sue the latter. However, the latter MP denies that he made the allegations.
