Anwar Has No Audience With The King Today

Kuala Lumpur: There is no audience for opposition leader DS Anwar Ibrahim with the King today. This is what the Keadilan party says.

Keadilan communications director Fahmi Fadzil denies that Anwar is having an audience with the Agong on Saturday afternoon.

“That report is untrue. I request for the cooperation of the media in acquiring genuine information from accurate sources before publishing articles in order to avoid any confusion or misunderstanding,” says Fahmi in a statement on Saturday (July 31).

Several news portals in Malay and in English spread the rumours that Anwar has an audience with the King in Pahang.
