PM Anwar Ibrahim says the former PM Muhyiddin Yassin has forgotten his time as PM when he brought the darurat. Closing the Parliament prevented the opposition from keeping tabs on Muhyiddin’s government.

While in the opposition, Anwar was against the darurat and wanted the Parliament to be informed of the expenses incurred by the then government. He added that instead of facing the reality of their wrong choices, they send their supporters to sing Hoy ya hoi.

“They met me and sang hoy ya hoy. But I sang back to them hoy ya hoy. They say that was before. Before?,” Anwar says. Muhyiddin is now charged, hoy ya hoy and is part of the court cluster, Anwar reminds.
